The Neuroscience Area works with research centres, universities and specialist facilities to advance interdisciplinary science. Collaborations support joint research, scientific exchange and access to complementary infrastructure and expertise. Within SISSA, the Cognitive Neuroscience Group collaborates with the Mathematics Area through the SAMBA experimental laboratory, linking research on microscale motility, bio-inspired shape morphing and tactile perception.
